Sometimes not knowing what to expect can be an unnerving feeling but have no fear! I want you to be as comfortable as possible with each step of your experience with me. Your first step to choosing me as your photographer is to contact me here or at and then add me to your contacts list so my reply does not get sent to the junk folder.

When we go over session details, I want to hear about your session vision first….share what’s in your heart for your session. Is there something extra special about this session I should know about? Is there a super special reason for your session? Are you wanting your yearly family photos? Are you looking for fresh photos to fill your home? These types of questions are just a few of the things I would love to know. I don’t want your session just to be a few clicks of the shutter and you get images from that….I want it to be an experience that you will remember fondly that produces photos that tell a story that you’ll love to share and display for years to come. Learning what’s behind the session is a beautiful part of the experience for me as well, I wouldn’t be a photographer if I didn’t love people.

If you don’t have a particular vision in mind, that is 100% okay too! I always have creative ideas in mind, including details such as location and wardrobe!

If you decide you want to book I will send you a link to my digital contract, just fill in any details that need filling in, and also I will send a separate email with a PayPal invoice for the session fee. Remember all returning clients get $25 off their session fees.

Next, is choosing your session date, time and location, if we haven’t already. Between this time and the date of your session, you are always free to email me with any questions, such as needing help with choosing what to wear, just send me pictures of outfits you can’t decide on and I will help guide you in the right direction. I also have a Pinterest page for clients to follow for outfit inspirations. Check it out here

Once I have a signed contract and paid session fee, you are inked in the books for your session date and time! How awesome is that!

At the end of every portrait experience, my goal is to provide you with beautiful family heirlooms that can be passed down from generation to generation and a USB thumb drive or CD is not our idea of an heirloom.

Speaking of CD’s, let’s be honest…how many CDs do you have laying around with images that have never been printed? What happens when that CD gets scratched or you no longer have a CD reader? (think back to 8-tracks and floppy disks!)
